Welcome to the University of Tulsa. The next four years will be some of your most enjoyable and memorable, and we want to be a part of that experience. The Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order (KA), a fraternity for gentlemen, has a rich history at TU since its founding in 1937. Throughout the years, KA has been an active part of campus life, and we are poised for another successful year. Please take a moment to learn more about our Chapter, and we look forward to seeing you in August.

Excellence is Our Aim

With 136 chapters and 125,000 initiated members across the nation, Kappa Alpha Order continues to be a leader among fraternities. The philosophy of the Order is that the acquisition of knowledge and the development of character are the great goals of life. The Mu Chapter at TU encompasses this philosophy as we strive for excellence in all that we do. We are leaders and scholars on campus. Our members are involved in student government, marching band, religious groups, academic honor societies, and professional organizations.

Leaders on Campus

Our members participate in every aspect of campus life. You might have met some of them on campus tours as they serve as University ambassadors or in a presentation about our student government. We participate in every intramural sport, from miniature golf to flag football and everything in between. This past year we took first place in the overall intramural standings, continuing our trend of finishing in the top two spots for each of the past five years. Not only do we enjoy college, but our members also finish strong; many of our members have been named outstanding seniors, faculty honor medal recipients, and honors graduates.

Fun and Fellowship

KA will help you find your niche on campus and be your home away from home. At KA, you will find a supportive group of friends with which to spend your college years. You will also find a place where you can have fun and make memories. Throughout the year, we have a variety of social events. From date functions with sororities to a night out on the town with the guys, there is always something going on at the KA House. In one week, you may find a game of capture the flag with a sorority house on a Tuesday, people grilling out on a Thursday, and a party on Friday night.
